Libya ECTN Application Guide
Libya requires an ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) for import cargo. A valid ECTN must be obtained before shipment sails to Libyan ports.
Required Documents
- Bill of Lading (BL)
- Commercial Invoice
- Freight Invoice
- Export Declaration
Important Notes
- Apply before loading; shipments without a valid ECTN may be delayed at customs.
- Cargo description on the ECTN must match the Bill of Lading and commercial invoice.
