Description

Somalia requires a ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) for all import shipments. The Somali Port Authority on behalf of the Ministry of Ports and Marine Transport of Somalia announced that as of Feb 1/2023 ECTNs are required for all Somali ports.

  Obligatoire lorsque: The freight amount is not included in the commercial invoice.

Points importants

• The ECTN must be obtained by the shipper, the goods will not be loaded onto the vessel without an ECTN number.
• The ECTN number must be written on the bill of lading.
